December 2, 2022: Cedar Rapids, IA 52404 Jefferson Hawks (Cedar Rapids, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Davenport North Wildcats (Davenport, IA), 52-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Jefferson upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Hawks host Linn-Mar (Marion, IA) to play the Lions in a Mississippi Valley bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 1-1.
Next up, the Wildcats play the Pleasant Valley Spartans (Pleasant Valley, IA) in a Mississippi bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Davenport North will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 56-53 non-league loss to Liberty (North Liberty, IA).
