Jefferson Hawks (Cedar Rapids, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Davenport North Wildcats (Davenport, IA), 52-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Jefferson upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Hawks host Linn-Mar (Marion, IA) to play the Lions in a Mississippi Valley bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Pleasant Valley Spartans (Pleasant Valley, IA) in a Mississippi bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Davenport North will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
