The Whiteface Antelopes basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Friona Chieftans to 31 in the Antelopes non-league triumph on Friday.

The Antelopes now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Plains for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. Whiteface will meet a Cowboys team coming off a 55-45 non-league win over Hale Center (Hale Center, TX). The Cowboys record now stands at 6-1.

The Chieftans (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Silverton (Silverton, TX). The Owls enter the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Silverton was routed by Plains (Plains, TX), 57-49, in a non-league contest.
