The Lytle Pirates (Lytle, TX) basketball knocked off the host Harlingen South Hawks (Harlingen, TX), 68-51 in Friday's non-league test.

The Pirates (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Carter (Dallas, TX). The Cowboys go into the non-league test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, Carter notched a victory over Southwest Legacy (Von Ormy, TX), 69-38, in a non-league test.
