Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Lakeview holds off Northwestern
December 2, 2022: Stoneboro, PA 16153 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Lakeview Sailors (Stoneboro, PA) and the visiting Northwestern Wildcats (Albion, PA), saw Lakeview's basketball squad hold off Northwestern by a tally of 37-35.
With the victory, Lakeview improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Sailors host Cambridge Springs (Cambridge Springs, PA) to confront the Devils in a District 10 Region 2 challenge on Saturday, December 3. The Devils come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Conneaut Spartans (Conneaut, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 8. Northwestern will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 73-49 non-league loss to Pymatuning Valley (Andover, OH).
