High School Basketball - Link Academy crushes Varsity Opponent
December 2, 2022: , Link Academy Lions (Branson, MO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Varsity Opponent (, ), 75-50 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Link Academy upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Lions travel to Calvary Christian Academy (Fort Lauderdale, FL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Calvary Christian Academy won 96-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Hamilton Heights Christian Academy (Chattanooga, TN)
Next up, the confront the Glen Cove Big Red (Glen Cove, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 3. Varsity Opponent will attempt to improve on its 67-275 season record. The Big Red come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 44-42 non-league loss to Lawrence (Cedarhurst, NY).
