Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mohawk Area nudges Slippery Rock
December 2, 2022: Bessemer, PA 16112 Mohawk Area Warriors (Bessemer, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Slippery Rock Rockets (Slippery Rock, PA), 57-55 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mohawk Area upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to Northgate (Pittsburgh, PA) to clash with the Flames in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Flames go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Northgate lost 56-39 in their recent non-league bout against McDowell (Erie, PA)
Next up, the Rockets clash with the Cochranton Cardinals (Cochranton, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Slippery Rock will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
