California High School Basketball - Oak Grove holds off Woodside
December 2, 2022: Woodside, CA 94062 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Oak Grove Eagles (San Jose, CA) and the host Woodside Wildcats (Woodside, CA), saw Oak Grove's basketball squad hold off Woodside by a tally of 48-46.
With the victory, Oak Grove improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host Capuchino (San Bruno, CA) to confront the Mustangs in a Peninsula - South challenge on Monday, December 5. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Capuchino lost 73-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Aragon (San Mateo, CA)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Cardinal Newman Cardinals (Santa Rosa, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 8. Woodside will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 60-43 non-league win over McKinleyville (McKinleyville, CA).
