Orangewood Academy Spartans (Garden Grove, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Valley Christian Defenders (Cerritos, CA), 80-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Orangewood Academy upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Spartans travel to Marina (Huntington Beach, CA) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Marina won 76-39 in their recent non-league bout against Bonita (La Verne, CA)

Next up, the Defenders play the Bonita Bearcats (La Verne, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 3. Valley Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Bearcats go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 76-39 non-league loss to Marina (Huntington Beach, CA).
