December 2, 2022: Milwaukee, WI 53213 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Pius XI Catholic Popes (Milwaukee, WI) and the visiting Waterford Wolverines (Waterford, WI), saw Pius XI Catholic's basketball squad knock off Waterford by a tally of 63-49.
With the victory, Pius XI Catholic improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Popes travel to Franklin (Franklin, WI) to play the Sabers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 3. The Sabers come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Franklin won 76-60 in their recent league challenge against Racine Case (Racine, WI)
Next up, the Wolverines play the Oak Creek Knights (Oak Creek, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 7. Waterford will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 83-47 league win over Kenosha Bradford (Kenosha, WI).
