Illinois High School Basketball - Richland County edges Robinson

In Friday's league outing, the Richland County Tigers (Olney, IL) basketball squad nipped the host Robinson Maroons (Robinson, IL), by a margin of 49-48.

The Tigers (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL). The Braves go into the non-league outing with a 5-1 record. In their last outing, Mt. Zion got by Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL), 76-51, in a league outing.

The Maroons now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Casey-Westfield for a Little Illini outing on Friday, December 9. Robinson will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 65-51 non-league win over North Clay/Clay City (Louisville, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 4-0.
