Iowa High School Basketball - Unity Christian nips Spirit Lake
December 2, 2022: Spirit Lake, IA 51360 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Unity Christian Knights (Orange City, IA) and the host Spirit Lake Indians (Spirit Lake, IA), saw Unity Christian's basketball squad hold off Spirit Lake by a count of 68-64.
With the victory, Unity Christian upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Knights host West Sioux (Hawarden, IA) to play the Falcons in a War Eagle challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. West Sioux won 61-55 in their recent league challenge against South O'Brien (Paullina, IA)
Next up, the Indians play the Storm Lake Tornadoes (Storm Lake, IA) in a Lakes challenge, on Friday, December 9. Spirit Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
