Texas High School Basketball - Spur can't hold off Abernathy
December 2, 2022: Spur, TX 79370 The Abernathy Antelopes basketball team scored 37 points and held the host Spur Bulldogs to 36 in the Antelopes non-league triumph on Friday.
The Antelopes now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Deal for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Abernathy will battle a Lions team coming off a 48-32 non-league win over Anton (Anton, TX). The Lions record now stands at 8-4.
The Bulldogs (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Ralls (Ralls, TX). The Jackrabbits enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Ralls was nudged by Garden City (Garden City, TX), 54-10, in a non-league contest.
