The Midland Bulldogs basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Abilene Eagles to 34 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Snyder for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Midland will battle a Tigers team coming off a 40-29 non-league loss to Roosevelt (Lubbock, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 3-7.

The Eagles (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Merkel (Merkel, TX). The Badgers come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Merkel prevailed over Brook Hill (Bullard, TX), 66-7, in a non-league contest.
