Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Monterey Dores (Monterey, CA) and the host Anzar Hawks (San Juan Bautista, CA), saw Monterey's basketball squad wallop Anzar by a tally of 66-14.

With the victory, Monterey improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Dores travel to Rancho San Juan (Salinas, CA) to confront the Trailblazers in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 5. The Trailblazers come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Rancho San Juan won 38-35 in their recent non-league challenge against North Monterey County (Castroville, CA)
