The Western Albemarle Warriors basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Armstrong Wildcats to 18 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Friday.

The Warriors now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stuarts Draft for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 8.

The Wildcats (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA). The Raiders enter the Capital contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Atlee triumphed over J.R. Tucker (Henrico, VA), 27-24, in a non-league contest.
