Homestead Spartans (Fort Wayne, IN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Carroll Chargers (Fort Wayne, IN), 60-55 in a league bout.

With the victory, Homestead upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Spartans host Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger (Fort Wayne, IN) to play the Saints in a Summit bout on Friday, December 9. The Saints come into the bout with a record of 5-5. Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger lost 60-15 in their recent league bout against Fort Wayne Northrop (Fort Wayne, IN)
