In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Model Blue Devils basketball squad scored a nice 55-43 victory over the Cass Colonels.

With the victory, Model improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA) to confront the Rebels in a AA Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Fannin County won 47-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Union County (Blairsville, GA)

Next up, the Colonels confront the Clarkston Angoras (Clarkston, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 10. Cass will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record.
