December 2, 2022: Chesaning, MI 48616 Chesaning Indians (Chesaning, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Corunna Cavaliers (Corunna, MI), 30-28 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Chesaning upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Indians host Ithaca (Ithaca, MI) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Ithaca won 55-29 in their recent non-league bout against Fulton (Middleton, MI)
Next up, the Cavaliers clash with the Holly Bronchos (Holly, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 5. Corunna will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bronchos go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 50-30 non-league loss to Troy (Troy, MI).
