The Elko Indians basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Sage Ridge Scorpions to 24 in the Indians non-league triumph on Friday.

The Indians now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Portola for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. Elko will battle a Tigers team coming off a 31-23 non-league win over Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV). The Tigers record now stands at 2-1.

The Scorpions (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Galena (Reno, NV). The Grizzlies enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Galena triumphed over South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA), 43-25, in a non-league contest.
