December 2, 2022: Gardendale, AL 35071 The Hueytown Golden Gophers basketball team scored 36 points and held the host Gardendale Rockets to 19 in the Golden Gophers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Golden Gophers now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wenonah for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Hueytown will battle a Dragons team coming off a 55-25 non-league win over Midfield (Midfield, AL). The Dragons record now stands at 7-1.
The Rockets (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Carver Birmingham (Birmingham, AL). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record.
