The Van Buren Pointers basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Gravette Lions to 43 in the Pointers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Pointers now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ozark for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Van Buren will battle a Hillbillies team coming off a 54-38 league loss to Morrilton (Morrilton, AR). The Hillbillies record now stands at 0-4.

The Lions (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Wyandotte (Wyandotte, OK). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
