The Jefferson Academy Jaguars basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Timnath Cubs to 45 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Jaguars now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Resurrection Christian for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. Jefferson Academy will meet a Cougars team coming off a 76-40 non-league win over Arrupe Jesuit (Denver, CO). The Cougars record now stands at 1-0.

The Cubs (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Arrupe Jesuit (Denver, CO). The Generals enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Arrupe Jesuit was defeated by Resurrection Christian (Loveland, CO), 76-40, in a non-league contest.
