December 2, 2022: Port Isabel, TX 78578 Lopez Lobos (Brownsville, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Port Isabel Tarpons (Port Isabel, TX), 45-31 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lopez upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Lobos travel to Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 13-4. Los Fresnos won 67-30 in their recent non-league bout against Rivera (Brownsville, TX)
Next up, the Tarpons clash with the Rivera Raiders (Brownsville, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 3. Port Isabel will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 67-30 non-league loss to Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX).
