California High School Basketball - South Hills nips Saddleback
December 2, 2022: West Covina, CA 91791 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the South Hills Huskies (West Covina, CA) and the visiting Saddleback Roadrunners (Santa Ana, CA), saw South Hills's basketball squad hold off Saddleback by a count of 35-30.
With the victory, South Hills upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Huskies host Hoover (Glendale, CA) to play the Tornados in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Tornados come into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Hoover lost 58-17 in their recent non-league challenge against Roosevelt (Los Angeles, CA)
Next up, the Roadrunners play the Whittier Christian Heralds (La Habra, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 3. Saddleback will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Heralds come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 53-23 non-league loss to Whittier (Whittier, CA).
