Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the St. Philip Catholic Central Fighting Tigers (Battle Creek, MI) and the host Tekonsha Indians (Tekonsha, MI), saw St. Philip Catholic Central's basketball squad wallop Tekonsha by a score of 35-14.

The Fighting Tigers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Burr Oak for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9.

The Indians (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against North Adams-Jerome (North Adams, MI). The Rams come into the Southern Central contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, North Adams-Jerome was routed by Athens (Athens, MI), 59-9, in a non-league contest.
