December 2, 2023: Bentonville, AR 72712 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Acorn Tigers (Mena, AR) and the host Thaden Barnstormer (Bentonville, AR), saw Acorn's basketball squad overcome Thaden by a tally of 52-42.
With the victory, Acorn improves its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Booneville (Booneville, AR) to confront the Bearcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 4. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Booneville lost 54-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Lamar (Lamar, AR)
Next up, the Barnstormer confront the The New School Cougars (Fayetteville, AR) in a 1A Region 1 West challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Thaden will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 12-1 record after their 75-55 non-league win over Jasper (Jasper, AR).
