Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Loyola Cubs (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting Aliso Niguel Wolverines (Aliso Viejo, CA), saw Loyola's basketball squad hold off Aliso Niguel by a count of 57-51.

With the victory, Loyola upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Cubs travel to Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA) to play the Monarchs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 7. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Archbishop Mitty lost 53-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Salesian College Preparatory (Richmond, CA)
