The Armstrong River Hawks (Kittanning, PA) basketball nipped the visiting Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers (Johnstown, PA), 57-56 in Saturday's non-league test.

The River Hawks (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Kiski School (Saltsburg, PA). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Kiski School was tipped by Life Center Academy (Burlington, NJ), 83-71, in a non-league test.

The Hilltoppers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Bishop Carroll for a Laurel Highlands test on Tuesday, December 5.
