Texas High School Basketball - North Central Texas Academy crushes Azle
December 2, 2023: Azle, TX 76020 North Central Texas Academy Pioneers (Granbury, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Azle Hornets (Azle, TX), 69-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, North Central Texas Academy upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Pioneers host Haltom (Haltom City, TX) to play the Buffalos in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Buffalos go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Haltom won 71-55 in their recent non-league bout against Flower Mound (Flower Mound, TX)
Next up, the Hornets play the Timber Creek Falcons (Fort Worth, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Azle will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 67-55 non-league loss to Byron Nelson (Trophy Club, TX).
