California High School Basketball - Santa Fe knocked off by Bakersfield
December 2, 2023: Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670 The Bakersfield Drillers basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Santa Fe Chiefs to 42 in the Drillers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Drillers now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Templeton for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 2. Bakersfield will meet a Eagles team coming off a 70-40 non-league win over Santa Fe (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-1.
Next up, the Chiefs play the Norwalk Lancers (Norwalk, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 4. Santa Fe will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 69-62 non-league loss to California (Whittier, CA).
