Baldwin Highlanders (Pittsburgh, PA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Chartiers Valley Colts (Bridgeville, PA), 74-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Baldwin upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Highlanders travel to Thomas Jefferson (Jefferson Hills, PA) to confront the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Thomas Jefferson won 77-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Elizabeth Forward (Elizabeth, PA)

Next up, the Colts confront the McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 8. Chartiers Valley will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
