The United Lions basketball team (Armagh, PA), was nudged 53-47 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Bishop McCort Crushers (Johnstown, PA)

The Crushers now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bellefonte for a Laurel Highlands battle on Friday, December 8.

The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against River Valley (Blairsville, PA). The Panthers come into the Heritage battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, River Valley edged Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, PA), 46-42, in a non-league battle.
