December 2, 2023: Austin, TX 78749 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Bowie Bulldogs (Austin, TX) and the visiting Carter Cowboys (Dallas, TX), saw Bowie's basketball squad overcome Carter by a tally of 46-34.
With the victory, Bowie improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs, TX) to confront the Tigers in a 6A Region IV District 26 challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 6-7. Dripping Springs won 60-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Churchill (San Antonio, TX)
Next up, the Cowboys confront the Bishop Lynch Friars (Dallas, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Carter will attempt to improve on its 9-2 season record. The Friars come into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 68-60 non-league loss to Cedar Hill (Cedar Hill, TX).
