Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Canon-McMillan knocked off by South Fayette
December 2, 2023: McDonald, PA 15057 The South Fayette Lions basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Canon-McMillan Big Macs to 56 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Lions now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Montour for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. South Fayette will meet a Spartans team coming off a 59-51 non-league loss to Taylor Allderdice (Pittsburgh, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 0-1.
The Big Macs (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bethel Park (Bethel Park, PA). The Black Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Bethel Park ran past Eden Christian Academy (Pittsburgh, PA), 74-67, in a non-league contest.
