Arkansas High School Basketball - Rector winner over Clarksville
December 2, 2023: Rector, AR 72461 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Rector Cougars (Rector, AR) basketball squad felled the visiting Clarksville Panthers (Clarksville, AR), by a margin of 68-60.
The Cougars (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Cross County (Cherry Valley, AR). The Thunderbirds go into the 2A Region 3 outing with a 4-1 record. In their last outing, Cross County was beaten by Earle (Earle, AR), 70-55, in a league outing.
The Panthers now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they host Waldron for a 4A Region 4 outing on Tuesday, December 5. Clarksville will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 70-44 league loss to Subiaco Academy (Subiaco, AR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-3.
