In Saturday's non-league match, the host Covenant Christian Cougars basketball team scored a tight 58-56 triumph over the ILTexas Arlington Eagles.

In their next game, the Cougars meet the Fort Worth THESA Riders (Fort Worth, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Covenant Christian will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Riders come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 48-43 non-league loss to Oakridge (Arlington, TX).
