Arkansas High School Basketball - Crossett nips Parkers Chapel
December 2, 2023: Crossett, AR 71635 Crossett Eagles (Crossett, AR) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Parkers Chapel Trojans (El Dorado, AR), 38-33 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Crossett upgrades its record to 2-6 on the season. The Eagles travel to DeWitt (DeWitt, AR) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Monday, December 4. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 2-2. DeWitt won 53-47 in their recent non-league bout against Emerson (Emerson, AR)
Next up, the Trojans play the Gurdon Go-Devils (Gurdon, AR) in a 2A Region 8 bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Parkers Chapel will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Go-Devils go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 53-18 non-league loss to Fouke (Fouke, AR).
