December 2, 2023: Mapleton, OR 97453 The Mapleton Sailors (Mapleton, OR) basketball felled the visiting Falls City/Kings Valley Charter Mountaineers (Falls City, OR), 39-31 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Sailors (3-0) will now prepare for their test against Lowell (Lowell, OR). The Devils go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Lowell thwarted Alsea (Alsea, OR), 54-19, in a non-league test.
The Mountaineers now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Southwest Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 5. Falls City/Kings Valley Charter will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 71-30 non-league win over Mohawk (Marcola, OR). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.
