Iowa High School Basketball - Winfield-Mt. Union tipped by Illini Bluffs
December 2, 2023: Winfield, IA 52659 The Illini Bluffs Tigers basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves to 48 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cuba/Spoon River Valley for a Prairieland contest on Tuesday, December 5. Illini Bluffs will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 50-42 non-league loss to Monmouth United (Monmouth, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-4.
The Wolves (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against WACO (Wayland, IA). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, WACO nudged Wapello (Wapello, IA), 63-30, in a non-league contest.
