The Independence Blue Devils basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Temple Christian Crusaders to 23 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Padua Franciscan for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5.

The Crusaders (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Northmor (Galion, OH). The Golden Knights enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Northmor was routed by Colonel Crawford (North Robinson, OH), 41-34, in a non-league contest.
