The Kermit Yellow Jackets (Kermit, TX) basketball nipped the host Trinity Chargers (Midland, TX), 62-57 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Yellow Jackets (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Pecos (Pecos, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, Pecos was tipped by Socorro (El Paso, TX), 52-25, in a non-league test.
