Texas High School Basketball - Midway nips Leander
December 2, 2023: Leander, TX 78641 Midway Panthers (Waco, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Leander Lions (Leander, TX), 55-52 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Midway upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Panthers travel to Rouse (Leander, TX) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 5-2.
Next up, the Lions play the Vandegrift Vipers (Austin, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Leander will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Vipers go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 47-26 non-league loss to Carter (Dallas, TX).
