Illinois High School Basketball - Macomb nips Quincy Notre Dame
December 2, 2023: Macomb, IL 61455 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Macomb Bombers (Macomb, IL) and the visiting Quincy Notre Dame Raiders (Quincy, IL), saw Macomb's basketball squad hold off Quincy Notre Dame by a tally of 46-44.
With the victory, Macomb improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Bombers travel to Farmington (Farmington, IL) to play the Farmers in a Prairieland challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Farmers come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Farmington lost 54-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL)
Next up, the Raiders play the Augusta Southeastern Suns (Augusta, IL) in a West Central challenge, on Friday, December 8. Quincy Notre Dame will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.
