The Sharon Tigers basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Mars Fightin' Planets to 61 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sharpsville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Sharon will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 45-39 non-league loss to Allegheny-Clarion Valley (Foxburg, PA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 0-2.

The Fightin' Planets (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Plum (Pittsburgh, PA). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.
