Texas High School Basketball - Mt. Zion Prep Academy crushes Pebble Hills
December 2, 2023: El Paso, TX 79938 Mt. Zion Prep Academy Warriors (Lanham, MD) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Pebble Hills Spartans (El Paso, TX), 64-43 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Mt. Zion Prep Academy upgrades its record to 10-0 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to AZ Compass Prep Black (Chandler, AZ) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Dragons come into the bout with a record of 1-0. AZ Compass Prep Black won 46-32 in their recent non-league bout against Pebble Hills (El Paso, TX)
Next up, the Spartans play the Americas Trail Blazers (El Paso, TX) in a 6A Region I District 1 battle, on Wednesday, December 6. Pebble Hills will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Trail Blazers come into the battle with a 12-1 record after their 52-37 non-league win over Permian (Odessa, TX).
