The Superior Wildcats basketball team (Superior, NE), was overwhelmed 65-35 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Republic County Buffaloes (Belleville, KS)

The Buffaloes now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valley Heights for a non-league battle on Friday, December 8. Republic County will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 57-46 non-league loss to Marysville (Marysville, KS). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-2.

The Wildcats (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Fairbury (Fairbury, NE). The Jeffs come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Fairbury was overwhelmed by Fillmore Central (Geneva, NE), 49-25, in a non-league battle.
