Louisiana High School Basketball - Westminster Academy crushes St. John
December 2, 2023: Opelousas, LA 70570 Westminster Academy Crusaders (Opelousas, LA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting St. John Eagles (Plaquemine, LA), 71-14 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Westminster Academy upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Dunham (Baton Rouge, LA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-1.
Next up, the Eagles clash with the Istrouma Indians (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 4. St. John will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 66-55 non-league loss to Northeast (Pride, LA).
