The Virginia Academy Patriots basketball team (Ashburn, VA), was nudged 55-51 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA)

The Bishops now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty Christian for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 5. Virginia Episcopal School will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 72-46 non-league win over Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.

The Patriots (1-8) will now prepare for their battle against Coolidge (Washington, DC). The Colts come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Coolidge was nudged by Fairfax Christian (Dulles, VA), 80-57, in a non-league battle.
