December 2, 2023: Alameda, CA 94501 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Dougherty Valley Wildcats (San Ramon, CA) and the host Alameda Hornets (Alameda, CA), saw Dougherty Valley's basketball squad hold off Alameda by a count of 49-42.
With the victory, Dougherty Valley upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host San Leandro (San Leandro, CA) to play the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 3-1.
Next up, the Hornets play the American Canyon Wolves (American Canyon, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Alameda will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record.
