Mississippi High School Basketball - East Rankin Academy routs Amite School Center
December 2, 2023: Pelahatchie, MS 39145 In Saturday's non-league outing, the East Rankin Academy Patriots (Pelahatchie, MS) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Amite School Center Rebels (Liberty, MS), by a margin of 53-6.
The Patriots (15-2) will now prepare for their outing against Simpson Academy (Mendenhall, MS). The Cougars go into the MAIS 5A District 2 outing with a 6-6 record. In their last outing, Simpson Academy smashed Bayou Academy (Cleveland, MS), 45-35, in a non-league outing.
The Rebels now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Loyd Star for a non-league outing on Friday, December 8. Amite School Center will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 46-25 non-league loss to North Pike (Summit, MS). The Hornets record now stands at 3-3.
